
I recently read Dr. Douglas Graham's 80/10/10 that takes the raw vegan diet further with 80% carbohydrates (fresh fruit & tender greens), 10% protein and 10% fat.
The off the charts athletic performances & vitality intrigues me. I still love my walnuts, avacados and blue-green algae, but am eating mostly fresh fruit throughout the day. Today, I had the best mango, banana & cilantro smoothie!
He also advocates the mono-meal such as having a meal of say, ten bananas. I am having fun playing with it, and do feel great. Plus, it is less expensive as I keep weeding out flax oil, coconut oil, and things I thought were good for me!
